The fall garden is on the horizon. The extreme heat wiped out the grape crops and turned them to raisins before they could be harvested. However, morning glories are thriving and doing their best to provide shade to our struggling kale, broccoli, zucchini, cucumbers, asparagus and herbs.
The heat these days has been intense and pests, along with some pretty gnarly locusts, have taken up residence at PUPS. However, we have a new bat patrol that has not existed in the garden before. They showed up sometime in the last few weeks. There are three at latest count on night vision camera. Am I happy to see bats? Hmmm! I'm thinking...
It's agricultural day and the first day of spring. Definitely seeing signs of life with spring starting today in conjunction with agricultural day. Can't wait for spring to be in full bloom. Here's the gallery of what's growing on this special day
